2. ROHTANG LA PASS :

You have to have a permit to travel here which can be acquired online or at that place but prior as per the climatic and geographical conditions obviously.

It is recommended to hire a local cab or take a bus, as the drive to Rohtang Pass becomes quite tough with slippery roads and narrow curves. Permits are issued only to the first 800 petrol vehicles and 400 diesel vehicles. Permits can only be applied for the next 6 days from the current date. Also, no permits are issued on Tuesday as the day is marked for maintenance of Rohtang. Tax sometimes, a congestion charge is to be paid and accordingly the permits are issued based on daily quota.

3. SOLANG VALLEY :

Hadimba temple, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, is a peaceful place surrounded by towering deodar trees. The temple is dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima, one of the five Pandava prince from the great Indian epic Mahabharata. The main attraction of the temple is the three days Hidimba Devi Festival, which attracts devotees from all over the world and features colorful folk dance performances.. Isn’t that so alluring and warry?! This temple is open till 6 pm in the evening.

This unique architectural and contemporary art and skill or workers is exceptional, no doubt. The temple base is made out of whitewashed, mud-covered stonework. An enormous rock occupies the inside of the temple, only a  tall brass image representing goddess Hidimba Devi. And no specific dress code is required here, just your pure and transparent relationship with God. A rope hangs down in front of the rock, and according to a legend, in bygone days religious zealots would tie the hands of “sinners” by the rope and then swing them against the rope.
